Chelsea FC has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the top position in the Training Ground Guru (TGG) Academy Productivity Rankings for the third consecutive edition. This exclusive ranking evaluates English football academies based on the number of their graduates who made at least one league appearance in the top five English leagues (Premier League, Football League, and National League), as well as in the other top European leagues—La Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy), and Ligue 1 (France)—during the 2024/25 season .

Chelsea's consistent dominance in these rankings underscores the club's commitment to developing homegrown talent. In the latest edition, 18 Chelsea academy graduates featured in the Premier League and other major European leagues. Notably, six graduates made appearances for Chelsea's first team in the Premier League last season .

The rankings also highlight the club's success in producing players who have forged professional careers elsewhere. For instance, Roman Dixon and Harrison Armstrong made their Premier League debuts for Everton last season. Their success, along with others, contributed to Chelsea's extended lead at the top of the rankings .

This achievement is a testament to Chelsea's robust youth development system and its ability to nurture talent capable of competing at the highest levels of European football.
